I miss and love this dress terribly (it was my first heart cutout in the back dress) but unfortunately, the zipper's been broken for ages. Does anyone know how to fix zippers? Should I just look on a Youtube video? Or does duct-taping the back closed (from the inside, of course) suffice?

I am a bad, bad seamstress. BUT I'M WORKING ON IT, GUYS. I once learned how to turn on a sewing machine and thread it. I can learn it again (I think).

In other news, this clothing shopping fast is very difficult on me, esp when we take family trips to the mall. Instead of buying myself things, I just end up fronting my brother the cash for his hip new clothes and encouraging him to buy things ("Yes of COURSE you should buy it! It's on sale, and besides you don't have a casual blazer yet!"). Metro Park and Urban Outfitters, indeed.
